*** We are inside church in the main body of the church (nave/transepts) to avoid the small spaces in the confessonals. Therefore, we are unable to offer Confessions on Saturdays before Mass because people are entering church for Mass and therefore would limit the privacy of those in confession. Priests are behind screens in front of the confessional and in front of the choir area.
Holy Communion After Mass
is in the Narthex and in the handicapped parking area.
Walk up the left side of the main entry path. Enter the narthex and go to any of the four ministers of Communion. Exit through the handicapped door or out the front, using the left side of the path. Everything is clearly marked for one way entrance and one way exit to maintain social distancing.
: Use the handicapped parking area, roll down your window and Holy Communion will be brought to you.
Please Support St Clare Church
Like all of you, our parish bills continue. We appreciate your generosity and need your continued financial support.
In the Basket:
Please drop your envelope in the basket on your way into church. There will be four baskets on top of the book racks as you enter church this weekend. Or drop it in the large steel basket inside the narthex if you arrive for Holy Communion after livestream Mass.

We are all concerned about the recent increase in COVID-19 illnesses in Arizona.
Our Diocese and Arizona State and local government are responding by strengthening their stance on safety in public spaces.
The City of Surprise
issued an emergency proclamation on June 19th which went into effect on Saturday, June 20th regarding wearing masks in public. Read it carefully, but realize it makes some exceptions for health or religious reasons, doctor orders and maintaining social distancing.
The Roman Catholic Diocese of Phoenix
also updated its instructions following the recent government emergency proclamations. They also sent to the priests the document below from the CDS about how to safely wear a mask.

We would love
to see you, but please
stay at home if
you have fragile health or show symptoms of COVID-19.
If you have been with us and then become sick,
please tell us
immediately so that we can do whatever is necessary to inform our parishioners.
We need help to keep a supply of clean masks for those who forget or who cannot find one.
We keep extra masks on the entry table if you forget yours. These masks are so that people can attend Mass. We do not have an endless supply. Thank you for cooperating.
take one to attend Mass if you forget to bring one - then take it home to keep.
put it back on the table after Mass because you will contaminate the entire supply!
